How do I delete records from a table which dont meet a set of criterias

I have a table its called queue.

It has a field called id.

I want to delete all records in the table apart from the ones with id equals to 74 or 75 or 87.

How do i do that? Please help!!!!! Im using Postgres

note, the id field is not unique and there can be numerous records that have id as 74 or 75 or 87.

Well, if you want all records with 74,75, or 87 deleted then

DELETE FROM queue WHERE ID = 74 OR ID = 75 OR ID = 87.

If you only want to delete some of these records then you will HAVE to do it manually or find some other distinguishing characteristic to use. If there isn't one then your table is poorly designed. You should ALWAYS have a unique key on a table.

DELETE FROM queue WHERE ID != 74 AND ID != 75 AND ID != 87

DELETE FROM queue WHERE NOT(ID = 74 OR ID = 75 OR ID = 87)

DELETE FROM queue WHERE ID NOT IN(74,75,87)

the first two dont work however the third one does!
