About how many emails is it reasonable to send through a php page?
I'm just wondering where the line is between using a web interface to send out an email newsletter or buying in a package

Theoretically, you can send as many emails as you like through php. The only restrictions will be:
Script execution time. Disk space on your email server Restrictions on your host to avert spamming
But PHP won't care...
