Hi,
I've built a website around a third party php script and it's almost complete now, the only thing left for me to do is configure a payment gateway to interact with the script.
My website operates in a similar way to ebay, in that people list items they wish to sell on my site. So people do not actually buy anything off myself they only pay money to top up their account so that they can continue listing items.
The script I use does say it supports PayPal, Authorize.net, and Planet Payment and I can see the code written for it, however when I made a payment using PayPal to try and deposit some money into my account, although I got my Instant Payment Notification the account on the website didn't change. The tech support people for the third party script are ok and will probably fix this but I do not want to pay the large start up costs of planet payment or authorize.net if I am unsure if it will work.
I was thinking of using 2checkout as they have fairly cheap startup costs, however I know nothing about how to integrate this with my script, so that when a payment has been made, the users account is topped up. Anybody know any information I can get on this? think 2checkout use 'passback values' to communicate with the script. Or would anybody be willing to quote me how much they would charge to fix this, like I say most of the coding is there it's just getting the payment flow to work right.
Thanks
Tom
