[RESOLVED] How to install PHP on a deerfield.com website webserver

Hi, I'm totally new to PHP, I'm coming from Cold Fusion. (In which I don't know if I can be converted over :queasy: ) So far, I in complete doubt. The installation has been a pain! Can Anyone or have anyone installed PHP on a Deerfield's Webserver ??

If so, what's the process or what I'm doing wrong ?

any help would greatly be apprecated! 🙂

It's a webserver provided by Deerfield.com. It' s Windows-based. very flexible.. Every extension (I have used) has installed fine with it.. I just can't get PHP to work! I'm getting the "no input file was specified" error now.. lol 😕

Sorry, wasn't trying to be condescending, I've just never heard of that server before. Is it based on IIS, Apache??? Or are the extensions, the services themselves? Since I know nothing about it (Deerfield), I really don't know how to help. Does it have to be Deerfield server? "no input file was specified" is not a familiar error message.

Ah, I'm not familiar with it because it's a php cgi error (I've never used that version.) Unfortunately, all this means to me is that it's not setup correctly. I would try to get some support from Deerfield.

I got it to work after hours and hours of troubleshooting!!!! YES!

I think I just forgot to create the evironment variable and reboot my server!
