session not starting after changing the file path

I am new in PHP.
Iam trying to start a session with

session_start();
?>
It gives me error:

I changed the path in php.ini:
session.save_path = C:\phpdev5\www

but the error still exist, can any one help me

if php is installed in c:\php try using .... session.save_path = "/phpdev5/www"
