Mass mailing software

Hey everyone,

Wondering what mass mailing software you all use if any? We are very concious about the SPAM laws and are looking for ways to have subscriptions and unsubscriptions. Also most of our lists are in MySQL and Excel. I could always write one with PHP 🙂, but am a bit busy right now.

To be honest, the best way to go about it is to write your own (in MY opinion). That way you can control how many emails get sent an hour, subscriptions and all that jazz. Plus it may be a bit hard to find a piece of software that supports both Excel and MySQL.

It would probably take you a weekend to write it all.

Thanks, and anyone else have any ideas or software they use?

Yeah I could write my own, but really don't want to. There are just so many options that I might forget and whatnot.
