where is your code that actually writes to the file? or is this all you have?

there is no php code in this file. well, very little + the include. all this is is a html form. you should read up on the [man]fopen/man function, but before that, i think you need to read some of the basics. take a look here.

Perhaps he tired of being sent to sites and wants a straight, simple answer. But no one will help with an attitude like that.
i was simply pointing out what i consider to be a great free resource for learning php. i meen, its pretty obvious he has'nt a grasp of the basics yet. saying that doesn't meen i was giving him crap about it does it?
