iFrame not remembering session ID

Hi all,

My session ID is changing everytime I click on a link within an iFrame. When I run the site in a new window though, the session ID remains the same and it works perfectly.

Any got any suggestions to why this might be please?

Help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Try passing the session id via get params to the other iFrame. In the iFrame code get the session id passed and assign that id to session_id() before starting the session in the iFrame.

eg:

session_id($_GET['passed_sess_id']);
session_start();

Thanks, that worked great. However... passing a variable on every link defies the point of using a session. It would also require me changing all links on the entire site.

Just to clarify things, I'm not trying to pass from the parent to the iFrame. The session is started within the iFrame because it points to a different domain and is being lost whilst navigating within that iFrame.
