Using various forms

due to an assignment i need to make three forms and retrieve the information posted in each of them and display them in a new page:

First Form ----> Second Form ----> Third Form ----> All the information posted

I know how to retrieve the information of one form and then display it on a new page after pushing a submit button but i just don't know how to retrieve the information using three different forms.... can someone help me?

perhaps you could preserve the values (FROM the previous form) IN the present one by:
1. adding hidden text boxes whose values corresponds to the ones from the previous form;
For instance you you have these elements :
fmr1_txt1 in form1, frm2_txt2 in form2 & frm3_txt3 in form3.
when you submit the first form to the 2nd one, you could add this in the 2nd form
<input type="hidden" name="frm1_txt1" value="<?php $POST['frm1_txt1']; ?>" />
and so on;
2. using cookies; and/or
3. using $SESSION variables.

ok, thanks.... another question if I use different forms but i don't call them right after another one, i could use the same methods to retrieve the posted information?

for example:
i have a start page where you can select from various forms, and after filling each of them (in any order) and then you can link from the start page to a page to show the posted information in all the forms

yes. shopping cart applications usually employ $_SESSION variables (or a database) to store information so that previous 'items' (info) would not be lost while the 'user' traverse other web pages.

excuse me, but does anyone has a tutorial for using $_SESSION variables or can someone explain me how to use them?
