As I was sitting here struggling w/ this public transportation bus schedule route to an area where i don't normally ride, i thought to myself--
"It sure would be nice if i could type in my Starting Point and my Destination, and have an app tell me which routes i need be on, and at what times so that I can arrive at my destination in the most convenient and timely manner possible"
if you look here in the drop down at the left you'll see all of the available bus schedule information. surely i could enter that data into a relational database to arrive at an app that coule project a route for me, no?
there's probably already a PHP app written precisely for this purpose, but i'd like to take on the challenge if i can't find anything for free. haha who fun it would be to present such an app to my local public transportation authority!
