Email Question

Hello.

I am writing a php script that needs to monitor an email account every few minutes, and if an email is found, read in the email, parse some data out of it and save same.

In addition, I would then need to delete the email in this inbox so my script won't re-process it.

Does anyone know if there is a function (or sample script) to monitor an email account?

Any help would be appreciated.

The chapters on the [man]imap[/man] functions should contain the required components.

As for running it on a regular basis, search here on the subject of "cron".
