Does anyone know how to integrate DSN into sending email from PHP? I have a listing of about 500 members that I would like to keep track of and get a report of confirmed emails received by them. I have not been able to find any information about this on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
you mean like return receipts in emails? add a header Disposition-Notification-To: <you@yoursite.com>
No, I am looking at DSN, Delivery Service Notification. This give you a responce if it was deposited in their pop3 account. Your example is just for asking for a MDN (Message Disposition Notification, read receipt)
probably you will have to go lower level with this and directly connect to the smtp server yourself and check the response of the server after you send the message to see if it says its set for delivery or if the account doesnt exist or whatever.
