I just got a mini-poll php script, all it said was to upload all the files and change "permissions" to "755"
i am totaly new to PHP and have no idea what "permissions" means or how to change it?
any help would be greatly appriceatd
what OS is your server? if its linux you'll need to...
chmod 755 filename
if windows, just make sure all files have read permissions.
this really has little / nothing to do with php.
oh thanks man im on windows so dose this mean i have to tick the "read-only" box or the "archive" box
neither. i think its in the security tab. not sure, i dont use windows.
when your on FTP right click the file and click permisioon and check the boxes to lower or add permission
