[RESOLVED] php poll not saving results

hey

I have this php poll on my site, its just got 2 simple yes and n answers,

my problem is when the users clicks on on of them, it takes them to the results pages, which is all fine, but lets say they go to a diffrent page and then come back to view the results, they go back to zero?

Im extremly new to php, and found this php script for free

heres the link, just click on one of the answers and submit, and then go to a diffrent page and come back to the about page and click view results.

I read through the script twice, and if I am not mistaken, your file pointer is used only to READ the file, and there is noplace specified where the script is actually writing to the file to increment the count of votes... So, that should give you a good place to begin...

the thing is now that ever time u submit a vote it give me a few errors, but still shows the result?

what i mean is have you set the permissions on the file your writing to? make sure its CHMOD 777
