PHP 5 Status

Is PHP5 out of beta and now an official production release? I can do pig ignorant 😃

PHP5.1 and it appears to be a nice release 🙂

php5 has been stable since 5.0.0, released 13th Jul, 2004.

I confirm! I'm already using it within a production environment on

• Suse 9 Enterprise Server & RHEL 3
• Solaris 8, 9 and 10
• Win 2003 Server
• AIX 5.2
• HP-UX ia64 (a little bit buggy but is it php or hp??) 🙂

I've run through heavy load tests successfully 🙂
