Hey everyone,
I am just wondering if everyone is switching to PHP5? Also the scripts that are written in PHP4 should be working in PHP5 right? I switched over my server and some of our bought applications aren't working. I can't give specifics just wondering if its becoming standard to move to PHP5?

ive pretty much always used php5, but ive only been using php for 18 months or so, so.... from visiting this board, im of the impression that most users are still using php4, though alot more are starting to experiment with php5.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, thanks for the article.
Also I am glad that PHP5 has fixed the "Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client" error in MySQL. However, I wish they would release a patch for PHP4 that fixes it.
Maybe just wishful thinking?
