warranty management system

I am looking for good "warranty management system", open source, free or commercial.

Could you make some suggestions or give some advices?

PHP/MySQL platform will be better.

I thought a warray management system should be generally needed and there should already be some good systems there. free or commercial.

I did google search on the warranty management system. Not too much results there.

Is it because

1) warranty management process is mostly depengding on individual business's individual practice? so it is usually a custom programming projects.

2) are there market there for a general designed warranty management system?

More like service bench's warranty management system doing.
But it is a small business client. And I don't know if service bench's product is right for him.

Plus, I don't see any products, price, tech information about service bench's warranty management system.

In simple words, I need some open source (free) or commercial php/mysql based warranty managment system doing the major works of the service bench's warranty management system doing, and it is suitable for small business' budget and practice.

With the information I get, I would either suggest the clients to use off-shelf commerical products, free products. Or modify from current open source system for him. Or develop one from scratch for him.

But I don't want to develop a system either has no market for potential future similar clients or already have good and cheap system (free or commercial) in the market.
