You might indicate which fields are required. I managed to get in a few levels on the forms...and then some things had no options. I'm assuming because I didn't enter some information on the previous forms.

Also, the navigation model you've gone with isn't very accessible. If a user doesn't have javascript (text browser, screen reader or just javascript switched off) then they have no links. You should note that accessibility is actually a legal requirement here in the UK, check out here for a start. I haven't been able to find a tree menu which is accessible but I'm sure it could be achieved.

um... i dont get it. why are we mooching around this? you might want to get rid of the massive splash image. comming in at whopping 174k, thats just rediculous.

splash screen isn't bad, especially when the image is compressed (26k here)

I should really have let you know that this is for internal use only - so screen readers, etc are a non-starter. All PC's have javascript enabled and are using MS IE at a resolution of 800x600 or greater.... so that lets me skip a few areas.. :-)

As for the splash screen - 127K on a 100Mb intranet isn't going to take more than a tiny amount of time.. but I suppose I should change it... was supplied like that - just ain't got round to it as yet..

None of the links for the main nav are provided by javascript... they just link to an IFrame... but as IE accepts it.. all well and good :-)

As for no options - it is very much dependant on the postcode - with a geographical search based on the distance from your postcode.. if there are no applicable clubs in the area - no options are given. But it is a good point - should be a stop page instead so that we can inform the client... Thanks Vaaaska

Without looking at the source all I can comment on are the interface features - saying that it's only intended for a certain platform might be ok now, but what about in a few years? It's always best to conform to standards since they'll still be around when the specific platform you coded for has died 🙂

Isn't that what a "maintenance contract" is for Shrike ?? LOL - I've been trying to get this working as easily as possible over as many platforms as I can. The only prerequisite for the site to work is javascript (works fully in IE and Mozilla..) but I should be adding the full tags for screen readers etc... Although I was looking into converting it into the GDK - which would exclude that somewhat if I am correct...

Have to say thanks to coreyp_1 though - I nicked and used your image... well you did such a nice job - would be a shame to lose it all for nothing... 😃
