Setting Variables equal to Variables and Text

I havn't used php in a while and am a little rusty 🙂

I know this is quite basic but, am I doing this right?

$newduedate = $month & "-" & $day & "-" & $year;

I want the variable "newduedate" to be ##-##-##.

When I do this, $newduedate is set to zero. I must be doing something wrong. I am not even sure if I am using the ampersand correctly, please help!

Nah, ASP and PHP are simple enough, I think anyone can swap back and forth once you learn them well enough.

Oh... and another plug for PHP, it's syntax structure is more similar to languages like java and C. So have fun!
