time delete(Mysql query)

Hi guys!
I'd like to know how to set time in mysql so that deletes a row automatically in a week time from entered day. How do I chk the deadline time? can someone guide me pls? a sample mysql query in php would be really helpful.

DELETE FROM `table` WHERE entered<(NOW()-(60*60*24*7))

Not guaranteed to work, but something to start you off....

thanks for the reply.. 🙂

It uses timestamp when the data is inserted to mysql, shows something like this "2005-11-30 03:07:57", I wonder if this is the correct way to read 7 days from the data entered day:

WHERE entered<(NOW()-(606024*7))
