Apache Messageboard help

Ive been trying to Install a message board on my apache2 server, i got php to work and now what do i do about thiserror

Did you:

1. Install mySQL

2. Check mySQL install

3. Install phpMyAdmin (or other DB admin script)

4. Create table & users for Forum

5. Populate Tables for Forum

If you didn't do all that, you won't connect. Judging from the looks of it, seems like you don't have mySQL configured...
