product catalog and its images management

I have a shopping site.

The product images are saved in the folder

Full images are in

/productImages/fullImages/[product_code]/1.jpg, 2.jpg etc.

Thumbnails are in

/productImages/thumnailImages/[product_code]/1.jpg, 2.jpg etc.

I am looking for a very simple (image) files management system I can plug into my shopping site system to manage these images.

Such as creating and name image folders, uploading images to certain folders, viewing, renaming, deleting images or images folders.

Very simple, easy to use, php systems only require basic functions like this.

I went to sourceForge there are many image management system there. I am going to go through them. But at the same time, if anyone can give me some advices, it will be much appreciated.

I am also checking the hostscripts file management system group now.

Actually, all I want is a remote web access very simple "file management systems" to manage images, more like the ftp software did. But web access tool.

Plus, if the system is very simple, clean coded, I can modify it to merge with my shop site to manage the product catalog's product images.

There are too many systems good for this purpouse from hotscripts php file management group. But most of them are too much for my needs. I only need it to manage product images and their thumbnails, and if the system is simple and only support this basic requirements, plus clean coded. And of course, should let me view image file online.

I may be able to merge it to my shop site very well.

So many systems and it is not so easy to tell which is better and which is popular, plus secure, more users/developers pool so it will not discontinue in the near future.

Any people use this approach before? any file(image) management systems you can recommend?
