Haven't evaluated the whole thing; furthermore, I'm not much at graphic design, or even color-matching, as regulars in the EL probably remember.
I must say I like the "gradient" in the background. However, the 'new' logo, whilst using an impressive and stately font, lacks character. For starters, and this is probably the main beef: what does a <? BUILDER ?> tag do, anyway?
The old logo had some meaning to those of us who know the language.....
