Accessing a Database from a Different URL

So here is what I am wanting to do: I have one site www.not-really-my-site.com, and I have a blog site www.blog.not-really-my-site.com (this is a unique URL, not a sub-domain). I want to be able to show the latest blog entry from www.blog.not-really-my-site.com on www.not-really-my-site.com. How do I access the blog database from a different URL?

same as you do from anywhere. pass the mysql_connect function your host, username,and password. what host name do you use now? if your using localhost, you will need to find the ip of your database host. you will also need to grant permissions to connect from a remote host though.
