Sort Results By ID Number

i have a page that show the results of a query on a member database up untill today its been in order of ID but thats all changed how can i force it to sort the results by id e.g 001 002 003 etc

Add "SORT BY id ASC" to your query string

ok what does teh ASCc do jsut curious as im learnin php at the moment

ASC is ascending order, DESC is descending order.

ahh btw SORT BY doesnt seem to work for some reason so i put ORDER BY id ASC and it works fine, dopnt know why but the mysql_fetch_array doesnt work with it ????
