how to post to newsgroups via php/nntp

I've looked far and wide for info on how to post to newsgroups using php.

Basically, I don't want to have to open up a news reader, type the newsgroup, subject/message, and click send.

I found some tutorials on how to read messages, but nothing on posting with php.

Look under the [man]imap[/man] functions. They do nntp as well, and the protocols are linked to from there as well.
