Hey guys i am running a script called e107 and i get this error when i check the db

Currently

varchar(100) collate latin1_general_ci NOT NULL default ''

should be

varchar(100) NOT NULL default ''

how do i have mysql 4.1.1.4 to remove teh latin 1_general_ci and what is collate doing in mysql

It's mySQL 5.0 information....

Not sure what you're asking... what is it you want to do? Remove the "collage latin1_general_ci" from the SQL file? Just open, and do a search & replace.

what do i have to change in mysql so it doesnt add it all by its selft when i inport a mysql DB

Latin1 is the character set, it has to have one if you want to change it look here http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/4.1/en/character-sets.html
