Stupid quote problem

Hi,

I'm trying to print the following:

Merci pour votre soumission. Vous faites maintenant parti de notre liste d'envoie electronique and recevrez des bulletins et rappels mensuellement.

with an echo command:

echo "Merci pour votre soumission. Vous faites maintenant parti de notre liste d\'envoie electronique and recevrez des bulletins et rappels mensuellement.<br><br>";

All I get is no output at all. What is wrong this line? 😕

You asked, "what is wrong with this line?" The answer is, "nothing is wrong with this line."

Other than the fact you don't need to escape the apostrophe, there's nothing wrong with the code, unless it's your French, which I don't speak fluently, or much at all. (I see "thanks for your submission, or somesuch....)

I suggest that you check the server error logs, etc., to see what up, because the line you posted shouldn't be causing a problem with any standard configuration of which I'm aware ....
