A little lost

Hey all, I've taken the calendarix calendar app and edited it so it uses the forum_users table in phpbb2 for the correct permissions...

What I'm lost about, and it may just be it is very late, is how would I add something into my script to look for the session and/or cookie phpbb2 creates?

To access the session id. $var = session_id();

If the cookie on the client's browser is disabled, PHPBB uses SID in URL.
