Howto: Check for content in *.bat file

Hi,

I have a batchfile in the windows folder and need a script that checks if the line "homepath" is set, and if yes gives the output else -> echo"error; blabla"

I tried it, but it doesn't work at all and deleted the script cause i was getting mad! 🙁

May someone help me?

c:\windows\soft_config.bat

set homepath=c:\Pro\XYZ\blabla
set serverurl=www.xxxx.com
set emailroot=[e-mail]
set emailserver=mail.xxxx.com
