I'd agree with Jason, a good book can be invaluable. I'd suggest getting one which may look a little bit too hard right now (like the one Jason suggested) but will most likely be a permanent piece of desk furnature for a long while.
Also, don't skateboard down the motorway, cars drive very fast and aren't expecting people on skateboards. You may survive for quite a while, but sooner or later you'll get knowked down and then you won't be laughing.
