Displaying daily info from database.

OK, I have a problem. I run a site specifically about a theme park, and am looking for a simple script to display current info on the main page out of a database.

It would look something like this...

Today's Park Information
Operating Hours: (Hours Here)
Regular Live Shows: (Show/Time) (Show/Time) etc
Special Events/Concerts: (Event/Time) etc

Problem is I'm a complete newb, all I know of PHP is how to use include to put my navigation bar and such onto a page, and to do extremly simple adjustments to forum interface scripts, etc...

Anyone interested in helping me put this together?

Are you going to update the database by hand, or will it update automatically from an information source? If you're going to update it by hand, I might be able to help you today or tomorow. PM me and give me your email address and I'll email you when I get home.

By hand, there is no reliable information source it could be updated from.

Actually your task is very simple than you thought.

What you want to do is learn how to create database, table, column name, and insert field info first. After you have learn that, which should take maybe 5-10 minutes...

Then learn SELECT code and use it to fetch/display your time, date, concern schedule, etc. Generally, both info can be found on same tutorial.
