Image functions doesn't work?

Can anyone tell me, why the functions like ImageCreate(x,y), ImageArc(...), ImageFill(...), etc. are unknown?
My PHP5.0 interpreter says: Call to undefined function Image...

In php.ini there are no lines about Image functions to enable/disable.

I think you need the php_gd2.dll library loaded.....

uncomment this line from the php.ini,

but you'll also need the extension installed.

I think it's called "php_gd2.dll"........it's certainly something similar (can't check here at work).........
