dynamic image transparency

i have a problem. im making a dynamic image from another image that i cant modify. in order to make the new image i need multipul transparencies. how would i do it?

this is what i have for just one transparency

$transparent = imagecolorallocate ($i1, 201, 211, 222);
imagecolortransparent ($i1,$transparent);

i also need

200, 210, 221
201, 210, 222
202, 211, 222
203, 211, 223

as far as im aware gif and png can only have 1 transparent color in their palette i could be wrong though?
