[RESOLVED] Tutorial on joins?

I keep hearing about joins and seeing them mentioned in the posts, but I'm afraid that they still don't make any sense to me.

Can someone point me to a book or tutorial on the subject? Would I look in the PHP manual or a database book? 😕

'Joins' are a database subject.

It is a peice of database syntax used for linking (joining) two or more tables together, to create a more complete result.

sqlcourse.com and sqlcourse2.com have seveal tutorials and there is one there about joins you can even practice with.
