Hey everyone, here's a big one. (Hopefully I'm not shooting too high as a newbie)
I've started a small business that builds websites for other small businesses. I have a reseller plan with a company that allows me to use cPanel and WHM to manage our clients' websites.
My goal is to have a client log in section on my website, that will allow my clients to view their website stats. I'd like to have a system in place that will allow the client to log in, using their registered domain as the username, and a password that we generate. The biggest block i run into is the ability to redirect the validated user to a personal page that displays their website stats. The servers I use support CGI, Perl, and many others. I also have access to MySql, if that helps.
I'm very new to this kind of programming, and any help, such as where to start, would be greatly appreciated. I believe the first piece of advice I need is which script (if there is one) is good for password authentication, and supports redirection based on the username. Thanks for help in advance.
