How to submit post to URL. I need to pass xml file to the URL.

Because
(1) The browser never sees the PHP.
(2) PHP never does anything with the HTML.
Learn the difference between server and client, and read up on how PHP works.

can I use 'curl' in Linux to send the request and receive the feedback?

No. Like the PHP manual and cURL's documentation says, cURL is only available for VMS.

You should use cURL from PHP if you have it available. I suppose having PHP call a shell script that used curl could be a last resort but I think I'd find a host that has curl available from PHP instead.

I can view the XML file on IE no error messages. When I submit the, I get the error message. What can be a problem?
