[RESOLVED] Compare two arrays

I want to do do querys to mysql, and compare two, one value could be in both queries, how do I compare them to do so, and how will i know which value is the same in both queries?

I have this table called catgeories - and another called item_categories. Every thing I tried failed...

foreach ($common as $key => $value) {
