quotes in body of mail() problem...

When the message body of an email I'm sending using the mail() function has quotes inside of it, the part of the message after the quotes is left out....

the message body is coming from a form, that is application/x-www-form-urlencoded... so it's already in a variable, $messagebody...

any ideas? I do stripslashes on the message body before passing it to the mail function...
