Name this programing language...

Working on a redesign using PHP and static HTML nothing special realy.

But through all the pages the programmer use a language I'm not familiar with to do includes like this one:

[+ inc('.mnu') +]

And database connections...

Can any one tell me what this is? PEAR? :bemused:

Need some help... and documentation links please!

side note: these includes are in side of HTML pages...

My guess is that it's some templating engine, possibly propietary.

The templating engine itself might even be written in PHP.

Try grepping your source tree for "[+" or '[+' - ie grep for the bracket plus combination between double quotes and then grep for it between single quotes. You may well find a homemade file which searches code for these characters and does something with the text in between.

oh well... only bad thing is it doesn't run on Apache 2!
