ok i'm working on a website where i want to create a configurator similar to that on the alienware.com website where they have radio buttons and instant price changes etc...i just have no clue where to begin!
to avoid having the wrong config apearing i have put the products to be selected manually into a form. Now i need to grab the prices of each product from the database, compare the prices against each other radiogroup name and then echo the price difference of the other options against the selected one.
At the same time i need to total up all of the selected options and display it as a total without having to refresh the page.

config a system and see how it works...surely it can't be too hard right?
If anyone can just give me some ideas that would be great.
