I have learned a little bit of php programming on my own, but I am a quite rusty now since I have not written any codes in over a year.
I am trying to password-protect my personal website, and I have no clue where to start.
How should I proceed? I can have viewers enter their own password and I store it in a database. I need to have the program check for userid and pass when they login, and sent them to a specific aera of my website base
Can anyone point me to the direction I should go to do this? Also give me a hint about what i should know about securing the passwords and the pages.
