The script I am using sends the user to open the file after it checks to see if the link is expired. Rather than doing that, I'd like to redirect them to the file, which is actually a form they fill out and then are redirected back to the freebie I'm giving them to download. That part works great, but when I added the link to the form to the download manager, it tries to open the file instead of just going there in the browser. Oh, wait, is this a javascript thing? I'm sorry, I am a newbie. Anyway, if this makes sense at all, I just want them to have to take the time to give me their e-mail address and name before getting this freebie, but if the link has already expired, I don't want them to have to fill out the form...so I was setting the link to the form to expire after the specified number of hits. But, I need to redirect them to the form rather than having the browser try to open or save it...does that make sense at all?
Thanks!
