Which is totally wrong as it should be the network IP address instead. What must I change and where to fix this, sorry I absolutely don't know and couldn't find it online anywhere.

That would be an apache thing.... look in "httpd.conf".

That's what I thought. Forgive my blatant stupidity, but where? I don't have the permissions to do this myself and will have to provide details for the system admins to do this for me, whenever they have time.

sorry it wasn't httpd.conf after all, it was /etc/hosts apparently - the order for the rows of '127.0.0.1' and the network IP were reversed in /etc/hosts and it worked perfectly!
