Hello All,

I am interested in deploying on my pet project website some forms for people to fill and submit to me and this goes into my database mysql, on my server. This stuf looks very straight forward, but I will like to implement enhance security on it..so much so that I will be so sure that the data has not been tampered with or someone some where has not played with my data in transit.
I thought of a certificate server or seesions along side, will this help if am using php..so many infos am reading on security on php makes me fear a little, i do not want some one to be able hack my site or redirect or create any funny stuffs. I want to use PHP to get this job done but is any one with a sound advice on this mater?

If you have a secure setup that uses Sessions I don't think you'll need to use https.

The heart of doing this will be to create the login/authentication system. Once you have this, the rest is pretty straightforward (as you have mentioned).
