Multiple installs on XP

I have done some searching via google and found that multiple installs of PHP is possible but apparently not on Windows XP :bemused:

Is there a way to have PHP4 & PHP5 running at the same time on XP? I'm not holding my breath but it's worth a shot 🙂

xammp seems to install both 5.0.15 and 4.4.1.

Cheers mate, have you used this before? it has some versions older than I would like to use, is it possible to upgrade them before installing? I'm trying to setup my computer similiar to my host. That way there's less chance of something going wrong when I transfer projects 🙂

No, sorry Ive never used it. Im strictly linux and build everything from source.

I downloaded the package and looked through the files. It seems that it doesn't "install" both PHP4 and PHP5 it appears to installs one, then you switch between the two. They have a little script which seems to just switch all the files around, it's a tad messy but it might be the only way.
