Hi, I'm having a real difficult time installing this !! <?php include ("$page.html"); ?>
is the code correct? , I installed in on my website but I cant seem to get it to work..

Can Anyone please show my steps on how to do this, would appriciate it 🙂..

try saving the file you want to include with a php extension on it exp:

<?php include ("$page.php"); ?>

Thanks I'll give it a try but do I have to Replace the "page" part with anything??

what is the name of the html file you want to include? you will replace the "page" with the name of your html file, exp

your file is news.html
you will save it as:
news.php

you can also do this

<?php

$content = file_get_contents('file.html');

// then put it were u want...

print $content

?>

but go with the first option i gave you, it's easier

Your query is fine if you lose the $ before your file name. page.php or page.html is all you need to include. it is not a variable.

<?
include ("page.php");
?>

Or you can use require

<?
require ("page.php");
?>

I can not tell you for sure by that link - what is the content of the page.html or page.php(which ever you used)?

If its contents are "Testing" - then yes it is working correctly.
