Hi, I was wondering how you would make a php file that can take link input and write it to a document that can be shown online...I.e... http://buddytracker.us/buddies.php?file=Italianthug337&name=blah and have it logg to another file online...I need something similar to this except I want it to be able to logg more than 30 characters to the file. HELP PLEASE.
Im afraid your going to need to be a little more specific. I have no idea what your talking about, and that page you linked to (if it was meant to be an example) is impossible to read.
For example the link would be, http://buddytracker.us/buddies.php?file=Italianthug337&name=test where when the user clicks on it, it would input the test part and logg that to a file. I need a PHP logger like that where it takes the last part of a link and records it... Hope that helps.
Well you would get the value of whatever is assigned to name by using...
$value = $_GET['name'];
As for writting it to a file, check out the [man]fwrite/man function for examples.
