Unique User Problem

Hi Guys,

What I am hoping to achieve is I’m hoping quite common and someone will be kindly able to point me in the way of a tutorial or a similar thread:

I have a log-in page for over 100 users. When the user logs in I want them to go to an admin page that:

1) Is unique to that user i.e says ‘Welcome $Name, to our agents homepage
2) Then lets them choose from a list which lets them add a $listing to a listings_table - holding every listing in the DB
3) Or Lets them modify one of the $listing only that particular user has added already
4) Or Lets them delete one of the $listing only only that particular user has added added already

Can anyone please advise?

Have you got any code at all? What part exactly are you stuck on? How does your login work? Sessions?

Hi Guys - please let me explain a bit better.

I've found an example of the kind of think i'm looking for on a sitepoint tutorial, which I now have working on my site:

In the tutorial it takes you up to the point where the session logs you in and says 'Hello $name' - you have now entered the website.

...But what I NOW want to do is use the session which remembers the ID that's logged in and allow the user logged in to do (1,2 and 3 as shown on the screenshot):

...But only for listings with their ID.

Understand now people? Can anyone advise?
