[RESOLVED] Mail formating question

I searched but could not find anything to answer my question.

Here is the actual send mail code and it works fine, which is great but...

$headers  = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n"; 
$headers .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n"; 
$headers .= "From: ".$From."\r\n";
$Mailsent = @mail($Mailto,  $Subject, $Comments , $headers);

When my partner receives an email from the form and forwards it to me (for whatever reason) the text does not wrap anymore. It like it looses its formating or something. When he receives the initial email he says it looks great with the text wraping like a good email should.

Anyone worked with that one??

You mean in the body ($Comments)? Or the headers?

If it's the body, use [man]wordwrap/man. If it's the headers, try using "\n" instead of "\r\n".

It is the body ($Comments) of the email. But like I mentioned it works for the first viewing of the email but not if you forward (FWD) the email to someone. Then the email formating seems to be lost.

Here is what we are doing. A user visits our site and wants to ask a professional in the Marine business a question and clicks on Ask Someone. The email is sent to the editor of the site and he forwards the questions to one of many industry contacts.

The other options are to place the questions in a word or txt file and then attach to another email to send off. But it is much easier to just forward the questions. If I use the wordwrap() function then when the questions are formated for the home page of the site then the line breaks will have to be edited out and it just creates more work. Hence the effort to try and fix the issue from the onset.
